Fellow Sportsman,

Hello, my name is Rich Pearson and I have been active in the firearm rights movement for over 40 years. For the past 15 years, I have served in the Illinois state capitol as the chief lobbyist for the Illinois State Rifle Association.

I lobbied Barack Obama extensively while he was an Illinois State Senator. As a result of that experience, I know Obama’s attitudes toward guns and gun owners better than anyone. The truth be told, in all my years in the Capitol I have never met a legislator who harbors more contempt for the law-abiding firearm owner than does Barack Obama.

As Carl says, “This article ought to be spread around.” I know that I’m preaching to the choir by posting it here, but follow the link, read the whole thing, and pass it on to those who you think might be interested. Especially those who appear to have been suckered in by Big O’s pro-gun weasel words.

We’ve seen that the “pro-gun” Democrats elected in 2006 haven’t really gained any traction, and some of them have turned out to be less pro than sold. They’re all part of the Democrat political machine and even those that truly want to back pro-gun legislation are in a tough spot, career-wise.

If the pro-gun Democrats haven’t been able to do much for gun owners, what is an anti-gun Democrat in the White House going to do for gun owners?
