Police search for suspect after 4th robbery of pizza delivery driver
Police are investigating four separate robberies of pizza-delivery drivers since Tuesday, with the latest hold-ups coming within an hour of each other Thursday in the same two-block area, authorities said.
No CCW in Illinois, of course.
UPDATE: Meanwhile, in Iowa, pizza guys get to fight back. And sometimes get fired for it.
Well, despite losing his job for defending his own life, the pizza guy lives on while the loser who tried to rob him will be sentenced, along with his co-conspirator girlfriend, in December.

Getting fired from a dead-end job like pizza-boi was probably a good thing … hopefully he’ll do something better with his life.

How hard would it be to catch this guy, too? Give an undercover cop a vest and a pizza uniform, hand him a pie and let him deliver for a night or two in the suspect area. Sounds like the bad guys would take the bait pretty quick. Its the least they can do if they won’t even let the poor pizza bastards defend themselves. But I suppose that’s not the point. Once we are all disarmed sheep at the mercy of either criminals or the authorities, they don’t really have to give a crap about protecting us.
