Work on the site continues. Most obvious is the new masthead banner. Nothing fancy, but it will do the trick for the time being.
Meanwhile, comments are now enabled. Go ahead and let me know what you think of the new site and the posts so far.

Hi Murdoc, Great site! I have added it to my blogroll. Just one request, I had to create a livejournal account just to post this comment. Can you please support OpenID authentication. It is supported by MT4 (http://www.movabletype.com/blog/2007/09/openid-built-in-with-mt4.html) OpenID allows your blog be your ‘identity’, rather than some other service like livejournal. It is still password protected. In fact all LiveJournal accounts are also OpenID accounts. Apart from that I really like the site. The content is good. and the site design is very nice and clean. I actually turned off registration requirements for commenting earlier today, so no registration should be required. I tested it successfully, but it anyone else has trouble let me know. This particular comment went into moderation even though I have it set to publish immediately, so I’ve obviously got some more tinkering to do. It’s taking me a while to get used to MT4. I had hoped to have Murdoc Online switched over by now, but that’s going to have to wait until I get things figured out. Thanks for the compliments, and I will certainly submit this site to The Gunblogs once things are going full steam.
