Tomorrow is the big day

November 3rd, 2008

I picked up an extra hundred rounds of .40 S&W tonight (hey, there’s no such thing as “too much ammo”) and the guy at the check-out told me to “have a nice evening.” I told him to do the same, and I hoped that we’d all have a nice day tomorrow, too. I was referring to the elections, but I don’t think he got it. In fact, he looked at me a little strangely.

Over at Murdoc Online, I’ve got a couple of quick thoughts up about what I’m going to keep in mind while watching the returns.

No matter what happens, no matter what you hear or what anyone says, make sure to get yourself out there and vote. Make sure your friends and family do, as well.

We voted 2 weeks ago, avoided the rush with early voting, and you’re right, no such thing as too many bullets…

Frequently, I pick up a box of ammo when we are out shopping. My wife keeps asking why I need “all those bullets”–she thinks I am preparing to start a war. But, you know what they say, “You can’t be too rich or too thin … or too well armed.”
