Turks Adopt Rejected U.S. Army Rifle

Their version will be called the Mehmetçik-1. This should provide a bit of a boost for piston-driven ARs.

    So is the HK416 going to be the next rifle that the world uses, alongside the FN FAL, AK 47, M16, and G3? Or will it be used by just a few nations? Time will tell.
