What? The WaPo was pulling for Obama?

I’m glad the paper’s Ombudsman (ombudswoman?) pointed out that the Washington Post was essentially in the tank for Barack Obama. Otherwise we would never have known.
All joking aside, some will undoubtedly point out that it’s at least big of them to admit it. And that’s true, to a point. But it’s too late. The damage is done and they can’t undo it by raising their hand like some basketball player who just accidentally caught a bit of the shooter’s arm.
As I mentioned over at Murdoc Online, it’s pretty clear from this election that the death notices for the Mainstream Media were a bit premature. They still have tremendous clout. Even when so transparently biased.
Unfortunately, most of the American public will have forgotten about it by lunch time tomorrow.

Wasn’t it a Pew research poll that found that about 3/4 of the folks polled felt the MSM were in the tank for The One? Anecdotally, I’ve talked to a few people I’d never suspect would notice something like that, but they have.
