It might be worth noting that this is one of those items quoting “unnamed spokesperson” for an “unnmaed leader” of the Catholic Church in Scotland, and some “unnamed” Scottish politicians — because we all know politicians, regardless of their nationality or political persuasion, are always a good reliable source of intelligent thought.
I suggest that like any item in the modern press this be taken not with a grain, but the largest bag, of salt you can find. What should make your head hurt is that the press continues to crank out this kind of mindless pap and people continue to read it.
