One thing I’ll say right away is: I realize that I didn’t include each and every cool AR accessory. Duh. Due to space limitations, entire categories (parts and tools, for instance) had to be left out. Within each category that remained, a decent range of options had to be represented, and lots of great products that I know of had to be left off the list. There were a lot of hard choices. Even more, there are, no doubt, many, many more great products that I haven’t even heard of out there.

If you’ve got a favorite AR accessory that isn’t in my rundown, be sure to let me know.

Extra Little Plug Time: If your favorite gun shop doesn’t get Shooting Sports Retailer, suggest that they give it a try. It’s a great trade mag aiming for independent firearms and outdoors retailers. It’s got a great bunch of writers churning out a bunch of great articles and commentary every issue. (Plus me!)

A new section of the magazine, The Tactical Retailer, debuted a few months back and is off to a great start. It’s focused, of course, on tactical guns and gear, with a special emphasis on helping shop owners learn about and know how to sell product in this growing segment of the market.

Of course, we’ve all seen that the stuff sells itself depending on the elections…
