Syracuse police to begin buying illegal guns

That’s an odd headline, but it’s referring to a buyback program in New York state:

Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Syracuse residents may bring in illegal guns to the Public Safety Building in return for $200 and amnesty for illegally possessing the weapon.

Helping fund gat upgrades and beer.

    If I were slightly less scrupulous, I’d buy as many sub-$200 ‘illegal guns’ as I could, turn them all in, rinse and repeat. Make a fortune.
