But none of us wants to own an assault weapon, because we have no desire to kill policemen or go to a school or workplace to see how many victims we can accumulate before we are finally shot or take our own lives.
In case anyone wonders if he was just unclear and didn’t really mean that killing police officers is all that “assault weapons” are for, he closes with:
We can’t let the N.R.A.’s political blackmail prevent the banning of assault weapons — designed only to kill police officers and the people they defend.
At least the guy is consistent about always being on the wrong side.

THE evolution in public policy concerning the manufacture, sale and possession of semiautomatic assault weapons like AK-47s, AR-15s and Uzis has been very disturbing.
Now, I’m not a gun guy, and maybe I don’t know enough on the subject, but the inclusion of the Uzi (not the Uzi pistol) in the list of weapons that the AWB covers strikes me as a bit odd. Is it really a legal weapon now, that needs the AWB to get off of the street? I thought it was already illegal, since it’s fully automatic.
Or, could he possibly be lying in an attempt to score emotional points when his logical one holds no water?
How can we tell? Oh, yeah. His lips are moving.

I thought assault weapons were also good for “spraying bullets,” not just for police officer murder.
I need to look better, I can’t find anything out there cool enough to spray rounds. Everything I’ve ever seen really just squirts one round at a time.
So disarm the American public. Finance and legitimize Hamas and attack the Israeli government. No dictator an enemy, no democracy a friend. The world according to Jimmy.
