This is a bit of a departure from the standard run of photos of guns featured at the SHOT Show. While I was checking out some Stack-On gun safes, my wife stepped over to look at a book called Armed America: Portraits of Gun Owners in Their Homes at Krause Publications.

It’s a collection of photographs of gun owners from across the nation, and each gun owner has a chance to explain why he or she owns a gun. It’s by Kyle Cassidy, and he was at the booth and I had a chance to talk with him for a while.
