Murdoc’s got a chance to check out one of these piston retrofit kits by Adams Arms. Here’s a shot of the kit installed on my DPMS upper receiver:

As I mentioned previously, removing the gas block/front sight tower from the rifle was a bit of an experience. However, once that was accomplished it was fairly simple and straightforward getting the Adams Arms kit installed.
