    Built into discussion about the appropriate number and type of firearm in typical SHTF discussions is that you have a fixed and secure location to store them all.

    I don’t think that way at all, but rather in terms of portability, like size and weight.

    I think it’s completely in-bounds to consider a scenario in which your base- be it your home, your Idaho compund, your circled fleet of cars- has become untenable.
