I totally understand both sides, As a Iguana lover it breaks my heart to see them killed but I also Understand the impact they have one the ecosystem. It is very sad that people released their "beloved" pets into the wild , and it is very sad alot of these animals and their young may be shot and killed or euthanized. I really wish people would not release their non-native Animals into the wild. Just my 2cents. I rescue Iguana’s. For example pythons have a very bad impact on native water bird populations in FLA. If they don't have any better solutions then they can keep their poorly informed, knee jerk opinions to themselves.
