More like bad hunter, leaving their shotgun laying around loaded and ready to fire. Even the most basic hunter safety class will tell you to unload your weapon when ever you are not actively engaged in or prepared to shoot.

Not bad doggie, more like stupid people. A dog doesn’t understand the concept of pulling (or bumping) a trigger will make a gun fire. A person should be smart enough to never leave a gun lying around the on the ground (Marine Corps 101: stack rifles, don’t lie on ground. If it touches ground, do many pushups). Especially a Loaded gun, and one that is not on safe (since I doubt the dog worked the safety as well).

You guys are totally right. The headline was sarcastic on my part and I categorized it under ‘Safety’ but didn’t elaborate.
A person with a gun is responsible for that gun at all times.

So, was the dog put down? Can’t let a dog that has the taste for human blood keep killing.
