A man who broke into a home received quite a shock

April 13th, 2008

Moore, Oklahoma:

The break-in happened just before 12:00 p.m. at 1300 Odom Way in Moore. The two homeowners were at home in bed when they heard someone inside.

Police say the man shot the intruder after discovering he had broken in. He then held the man at gunpoint until police arrived.

I’d guess that it was 12:00 AM, not noon, as the homeowners were “at home in bed” at the time.

Lucky thing that man had not declared his home a ‘gun free zone’. He might be dead now. Apparently now we have colleges that are ‘instruction free zones’ as well as ‘gun free zones’. They apparently believe the correct response to a threat is to give up. Isn’t that the liberal way. They closed down in response to graffiti that said:

‘Be prepared to die on 4/14.’ - CBS Chicago

The next time someone paints graffiti like that on a wall, they will probably start confiscating legally owned guns in a 100 mile radius around the school. That would teach those criminals. It’s the New Orleans solution.
