Bushnell HOLOsight Now Available In Camo

Overland Park, KS -- The HOLOsight from Bushnell has been a favorite of turkey hunters, pistol shooters and slug gun hunters for years. For 2008, the HOLOsight gets an upgrade to make it even more reliable and effective. Now available in Realtree® AP camo or matte black, it will be an even bigger hit with turkey hunters. The new HOLOsight has a dedicated On/Off button and memory chip that remembers the last brightness setting for the reticle.

The HOLOsight relies on advanced holographic technology that allows users to zero in on their targets quickly. Unlike conventional red dot sights, the HOLOsight XLP projects the appearance of an illuminated crosshair 50 yards in front of your gun, yet no forward light is projected. Shooters can sight from any distance behind the gun without taking both eyes off of the target.

No matter where your head is in relation to the gun, if the reticle is visible (even if the holographic display window becomes partially covered by mud, snow, etc), you can take the shot with complete confidence that your point of aim/impact is consistent.

The ½-inch to 10-foot eye relief makes it ideal for pistols and shotguns and offers an unlimited field of view. There is a choice of reticles -- Standard, 65 MOA ring and 1 MOA dot -- and the illuminated reticles can be seen under any light conditions. Its compact size and shorter length make it ideal for large caliber handguns and it will hold up to the heaviest recoil including .454 Casull.

Other features include a 100 percent waterproof/fog proof construction, low battery warning and auto shut off, and Weaver-style mount that fits easily on handguns, shotguns and rifles. Suggested retail is $229.
