Seems to be a pretty unreasonable situation, but the reaction is good.

Dangerous, irresponsible, and stupid. I’m sorry, but that’s awful.

I left a comment about this video being tasteless and inappropriate, which I notice has been deleted. Regardless of your opinion, I should be free to express mine on this pubic blog. C’mon guys, respect the first amendment as much as you do the second!

I agree with her. He is an asshole. His wife was showing interest in a gun, and instead of giving her instruction on safe handling he scares her to the point she will probably never want to handle one again. As a retired police officer, I taught my wife to shoot for home protection when I had to work mids and swing shifts. She would have checked to see if it was loaded, and if so and someone pulled this crap on her she would probably have blown him away before she realized it was just a dip acting like an idiot child.

Nathaniel: 1) I didn’t delete your comment, and it’s showing right now. My sites have been suffering from technical issues, so that perhaps kept it from showing initially. By the time I looked, it was appearing normally. 2) This isn’t a ‘public blog’ in the sense that you seem to mean. It’s my blog. You have no inherent right to post here, but you are invited to do so. Don’t take that to mean that I’m somehow obligated to leave every comment up. For the record, my sites have a total of over 20,000 published comments. I’ve deleted exactly 3 non-spam comments in over five years. 3) I agree that it’s ‘dangerous, irresponsible, and stupid.’ 4) Also for the record, I believe that it most likely was completely staged. I.e., it’s non-genuine and the woman is acting.
