Terrorist Hunting Permit T-Shirt

Court rules gun shirt promotes violence

Does a shirt “promoting” the hunting of terrorists “prommote” violence?

Here’s the back of the shirt in question:

Like Joe, I’m not exactly sure where I stand on this. I don’t think that the shirt promotes anything offensive or wrong. But I also wouldn’t send my kids to school wearing it.

If, that is, I sent my kids to school. I avoid this jackassery, and all sorts of other jackassery, by homeschooling.

Well, having taught in a school that was quite concerned about five year old boys making guns out of legos, I’d say it is no surprise this wouldn’t be allowed. I don’t think it appropriate for school, either, but why does every act of poor judgment have to end up encoded in law or brought to court?

I don’t think it does. I mean, terrorists aren’t exactly friendly people. Terrorists are out to kill and they kill whatever they want to kill. Men, women, children, they don’t care. They just kill them. So, how do you deal with such people? By hugging trees? I don’t think so. The best way to deal with them is to kill them before they kill innocent people. The only language they understand is violence.

A court that rules that such a t-shirt promotes violence is not fit for duty. I mean, it promotes violence against who? Terrorists. And that’s bad… why exactly?
