Maybe Sheriff Sandra’s time would be better spent apprehending B/Gs? Or at least doing some research on what kind of real danger CCW holders represent to the community.

Rising crime rates and criminals armed with -illegal- weapons is not a good reason? Sheriff Sandra Hutchens would LOVE Europe. We’ve all been disarmed by our governments for reasons that are even less “good” than hers.

This anti gun nonsense always wants me to demand the following: take away all driving licences the next time a drunk idiot wipes out a family when accidentally smashing his car into theirs. After all, that’s what’s happening in Europe all the time: one crazy nut starts shooting a few people and the next thing that happens is that hundreds of thousands of law abiding gun owners are forced by the state to hand in their guns.

What I see is a self-righteous sheriff who think she’s also a judge. Interesting to see that she seems to know that the second amendment is not an excuse. I certainly wouldn’t vote for her.

Start a recall petition.

Sheriff Sandra Hutchens’ “just doing my job” letter will not work towards the purpose of keeping her fucking job.

Getting enough sigs to hold a recall election is enough to make her a one term sheriff. People remember the recall during the following election, even if it wasn’t successful.

I still don’t understand the whole “good cause” thing. Should I be banned from keeping a spare tire in my car if I can’t demonstrate that I routinely drive on nails and broken glass? Should I be prevented from owning a fire extinguisher unless I have an arsonist neighbor? What about carrying lethal weapons like pocketknives? Should I have to demonstrate “need” for those, too? How would somebody even do so?
