I’ve had a number of folks ask about this. It’s not in production yet, but scheduled to start in March. The rail will be standard and includes an integrated Ghost Ring.
I shot one of these last fall, and I gotta say I really liked it. Maybe the rail makes it seem tactical or something.

TAPCO recently shifted to distribution-only. Apparently this move means that next to nothing will be on display at their booth at the SHOT Show and the reps will only be interested in getting folks to play their little spin the wheel game or whatever it was.

Murdoc wouldn’t mind finding one of these under the Christmas tree one snowy morning, but he probably can’t pull off “good boy” to the $1299 level.
Reading up a bit, I saw that on Wanted: Dead or Alive, Steve McQueen wore .45-70 rounds in his gun belt rather than the .44-40 rounds his gun actually used. I haven’t watched the show much, maybe an episode or two over the years, but .45-70 out this thing might take an arm off.
